Dr. Rachel Eglash

Originally hailing from Ethiopia, Dr. Rachel Eglash was immersed in the medical world, with her father as a doctor and her mother a nurse. Initially considering following in her father's footsteps, her perspective shifted when she began babysitting for a family that worked in the dental field.

Smile Restoration

With extensive experience in advanced restorative dentistry spanning several years, she not only excels in her field but also takes immense pleasure in the art of restoring smiles. She continues to be an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Pursuing the Dream

After years of serving patients in a large group practice, she sought to create a more personalized approach to patient care that prioritizes individualized attention and compassion. Eglash Dental Studio was born with a vision to establish an environment where patients feel genuinely heard, understood, and cared for.

Dental Education

Dr. Eglash achieved her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, followed by a comprehensive one-year general practice residency at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.

home life

She cherishes moments with her family, friends, and her loyal companion, Khloe. Beyond patient care, her passions extend to exploring new destinations, indulging in long walks, contributing to the community by mentoring students, savoring the art of cooking, and immersing herself in the pages of a compelling book. Her diverse interests reflect dedication to both her personal connections and a wide array of fulfilling activities.
